Our Work Together
My goal is to create a report that portrays your child as a whole person and serves as a tool for collaboration—with teachers, therapists, and other providers.
This broad goal is intentional because I want to discuss your goals and your child. I will partner with you to understand and communicate the results of the report to your child’s teachers and any other outside providers.
Let’s co-create the narrative.
I bring the data and my insights, and together, we adjust and individualize recommendations to ensure the final report truly represents your whole child.
How we work together
Timeline: plan to allow 3-5 weeks from testing session to written report/ feedback
-

Initial Consultation & Intake
In our sessions, we’ll explore your child’s unique strengths and challenges, align on goals, and develop a plan that includes the scope of the assessment and specific recommendations. I tailor my approach to your needs, offering alternatives when necessary.
-

Direct Testing Session(s)
Your child will participate in one or more one-on-one sessions using a range of standardized assessments tailored to their needs. I aim to create a calm, supportive environment where they feel comfortable and seen throughout the process.
-

Meeting to Preview Results
I bring the data and my insights, and together, we adjust and individualize recommendations to ensure the final report truly represents your whole child. Understanding is just the first step; next, we focus on how to apply that information.
-

Report Emailed to Family
You’ll receive a detailed written report that reflects both the testing results and your child’s full story. This allows time to absorb the information, note any questions, and prepare for our feedback meeting together
-

Feedback & Recommendations
Once the report is complete, I advise on who can help (with referrals), learning strategies (IEP, 504 plan, or educational settings like independent schools), and how to support your child at home.
-

Feedback with Student
I believe kids are just little people, and they need to engage with this process just as much as adults. We review the profile with your child, regardless of age, aiming to leave them feeling more confident and hopeful.
-

Ongoing Support & Collaboration
Attendance at school meetings, review with outside providers, follow up consultation as needed.
From our first conversation to final consultation, I want you to feel you’ve made the right choice for your child’s needs.
Individual Services
In service to individualization, these are the general services that are offered.
-
Comprehensive Testing
When you want to know about every aspect of your child that can be measured in neuropsychological testing, this is the right option.
Age Range: 1st grade or older
Length of the session(s): About 6 hours of face to face testing (usually divided into 2 three hour sessions)
What is included in the evaluation: Includes cognitive, academic, attention-executive functioning and social-emotional functioning.
What is not included in the evaluation: Nothing, this is the most comprehensive option, I will complete in depth testing in every area of functioning.
Cost: $6,000
-
Targeted Testing
When you have a specific question, or your child has already completed special education testing at school, this might be the right option for you.
Age Range: 1st grade or older
Length of the session(s): About 3-4 hours of face to face testing (either one session or two)
What is included in the evaluation: Includes testing two out of the following areas: cognitive, academic, attention-executive functioning and social-emotional functioning. Typically, this is completed if school testing has occurred and we need diagnostic clarity on social-emotional and attention/ executive functioning or learning.
What is not included in the evaluation: The other two areas that we do not evaluate will not be included and therefore cannot be addressed in recommendations (unless the school has recently completed testing).
Cost: $4,000
-
Testing for Young Children
Early identification unlocks access to early intervention, which can result in significant long term benefits and reduced negative impact of any diagnosis.
Age Range: Kindergarten or younger
Length of the session(s): About 4-5 hours of face to face testing (usually divided into two sessions)
What is included in the evaluation: Includes cognitive, early academic, attention-executive functioning and social-emotional functioning.
What is not included in the evaluation: Nothing, we are limited in the number of tests available for young learners because their cognitive and pre-academic skills, executive functioning/ attention, and social emotional functioning systems are all in their early developmental phases.
Cost: $5,000
-
Cognitive (IQ) Testing for Private School Admission or Gifted Programs
Age Range: all ages
Length of the session(s): One 60-90 minute session
What is included in the evaluation: IQ test, scores, interpretation and any specific recommendations based on their overall cognitive profile.
What is not included in the evaluation: IQ testing is not diagnostic for any purpose outside of intellectual giftedness. It can give some information about style, but not about academic ability, attention-executive functioning or social-emotional. Therefore, recommendations cannot target any of those areas either, they will only address cognitive recommendations. Feedback is also shorter (limited to 30 minutes).
Cost: $1,500
-
ADHD or Learning Disorder Only Testing
Age Range: all ages (diagnostically recommended for kindergarten or older)
Length of the session(s): one 90 minute session
What is included in the evaluation: Academic or attention-executive functioning testing, to include direct assessment, parent/ child/ teacher reports.
What is not included in the evaluation: The only diagnosis evaluated for will be the rule out (e.g. either ADHD or a Learning Disorder such as Dyslexia). Therefore, additional rule out diagnoses will not be considered (e.g. social emotional). Recommendations will be specific to the area evaluated, so will not address any other area of functioning. Feedback is typically shorter (30-45 minutes).
Cost: $1,500
